| The installation meeting of Latham Mark Lodge, No 268 attracted a good gathering at Southport Masonic Hall on Monday 26th October. The representative of the Right Worshipful Provincial Master was W.Bro Ken Alker P.G.J.D. also in attendance was V.W.Bro Bill Merry and V.W.Bro Brian Molyneux. |

| Once the salutations had been completed and the Wardens Chairs filled, the Worshipful Master W.Bro Richard Marsden installed Bro. Jim Molloy into the chair in what was a very enjoyable ceremony. |
| W.Bro Alan Foster P Prov G.M.O delivered the address to the Overseers; with the address to the Brethren given by W.Bro Alker. The presentation of the Working tools and the addresses to the Worshipful Master and Wardens was given by, W.Bro John Dixon P.G.J.D. |

| Full credit must go to W.Bro Dixon who had only found out late on Monday afternoon that he would be acting as D.C and doing the addresses at the installation meeting. |
| Not only were the members and visitors to Latham Mark Lodge treated to a first class ceremony in the temple, they also enjoyed an excellent festive meal. The new Worshipful Master can look forward to a busy season with new candidates in the pipeline and we wish him well for his year in the chair. |
